Have you ever heard about a man who could reportedly run an endurance race for 24 hours straight, or one who could pull a 433 metric ton train down the tracks? That's right, folks, we're talking about Antonio Barrakevich, or as he's more widely known, The Great Antonio. This episode is a thrilling journey through the life of this larger-than-life personality, who was not only a renowned strongman but also a colorful eccentric in Montreal. We delve into the heart of Antonio's unique origin story in Yugoslavia, his awe-inspiring feats of strength, and his charismatic career in wrestling.

Our conversation steers towards an interesting comparison between Antonio's physical abilities and those of other famous strongmen like Arnold Schwarzenegger, including a discussion around visible muscles versus usable muscles. We also explore the fascinating wrestling world that Antonio was a part of, including his rivalry with Rikidozan, a wrestler who managed to claim victory over him despite Antonio's formidable strength. The episode wouldn't be complete without addressing Antonio's escalating ego, his often outrageous demands, and how he leveraged his strength and fame.

The narrative takes a twist as we reveal how Antonio's life wasn't all about wrestling and how he almost won the Stampede North American Heavyweight Championship, only for the match to be called off due to a fans' riot. Alongside, we also ponder over the irony of how The Guinness Book of World Records, used to verify Antonio's records, has become a tool for totalitarian regimes. We wrap up by discussing Antonio's unique encounters with powerful figures like Don King and Tiger Woods. So buckle up, and get ready for an exciting ride through the extraordinary life of The Great Antonio!

What if you were told the first animatronic puppet in a movie was a duck? Welcome to an episode filled with outrageous facts and surprising revelations about the infamous Howard the Duck movie. We'll take you behind the scenes of this notorious cinematic flop, discussing the challenges in creating the pioneering, but problematic, animatronic of Howard. From scenes repeatedly re-shot due to puppet repairs, to crosstalk causing filming woes, the production journey was far from smooth. Hold onto your feathers as we delve into this tumultuous chapter of movie history.

Did you know that Robin Williams was originally part of the cast but left due to frustrations in matching his dialogues to a randomly-flapping duck beak? This episode also shines a light on the controversial casting process, including Williams' departure, the difficulties of the costume and the unfortunate fallout for voice actor Chip Zien, who wasn’t even invited to the premiere. We also highlight the marketing blunders that led to the film’s poor reception and share a laugh over other notorious 80s movie mishaps. But it's not all quacks and pratfalls, as we also celebrate the film's rare instances of triumph and innovation.

With the comic career of Howard the Duck still going strong and Disney's acquisition of Marvel, the prospect of a new movie isn’t entirely out of the question. We discuss attempts to revive the franchise, including Rob Zombie's pitch for a Howard the Duck movie and Hulu's plan for an animated series. We speculate on what the future might hold for this beloved comic character. Additionally, we offer our insights on the impact of Disney's acquisition of Marvel, and the legacy of Howard the Duck creator Steve Gerber. Whether you're a fan of the original or just curious about the chaos behind its creation, this episode is sure to entertain and enlighten.

The Venture Bros movie is finally out at long last to give us fans the closure we crave and deserve. Titled in a way that seems nonsensical, but makes perfect sense by the end of the movie. Caution there will be spoilers as we're gonna talk about anything and everything that happens.
We also mention the Minecraft exploding dingus of doom, various rock sizes, and why I am disenchanted with The Marvel Cinematic Universe.
