No other loss can occur so quietly; any other loss - an arm, a leg, five dollars, a wife, etc. - is sure to be noticed.” There can be certain notions surrounding motherhood and the self that we desired to dive into and consider in light of Kierkegaard’s words; what happens to the self in the selfless nature of motherhood?
