Nettie’s fave episode of the series is upon us! It’s a Halloween episode, but we also have one of the most heartwarming church scenes in TV history. The loss in Toni’s life continues in this episode. She has lost everything, and she’s feeling like she’s at the end of her rope. Will she be able to bounce back? We get a special guest appearance by Donnie McClurkin.

It’s an Yvonne and William episode... yay... 😕 Well ‘Willie’ is having doubts about marrying Yvonne. And he’s really being a jerk about it. He also won’t tell her the truth. Joan is dealing with the single life by getting into arts and crafts and that’s totally fine. She’s doing her. Lynn and Maya try to see if their men’s good qualities can rub off on the other. The time has come for Toni and Joan’s friendship to end. We’ve been calling it forever, and it’s long overdue. It’s done in dramatic fashion. Meanwhile, Vosco is being a deadbeat and leaving Lynn to be the sole income for the couple. Pot meets kettle, in this episode of Girlfriends.

We get a little more insight into who the new Darnell is, because he really shows his ass on this episode. The girls wanna go out for a fun day of shopping, but Maya is hesitant because she doesn’t have as much money as the rest of the girls, but when she decides to treat herself, a series of unfortunate events leads her and Darnell to fight over money. Sean and Joanne are missing each other way too much, so she flies out to see him and some decisions need to be made about their relationship.

DUN DUN! This is the Girlfriends version of an episode of Law & Order! Lynn moves into her new apartment which is actually...a garage. And William and Joanne have a court case that’s going to bring their black cards into question. Today is a fun one. Let’s suit up and get ready for court, on this episode of Girlfriends!

Dr. Bales is tired of Joan’s shit. So he has taught her a very special word—“No”. He tells her she needs to use this on all the trifling people in her life. I mean everybody’s walking all over her. Maya is getting her hair done on company time. Lynn had been staying with her for God knows how long and she brought in Vosco from Jamaica to live there too! And Toni... don’t even get me started on Toni. She has been a terror since the day we saw her. So...let’s see how things go for Joanne, when she add that word to her vocabulary!

Joan has the bright idea to take Toni to Jamaica to get over her woes about Greg. Toni tells the girls she’ll break up with Greg, but something is crossed in the communication, and Joanne tells Greg about the engagement. She inadvertently breaks them up. Yvonne and William have a fight about her job, after she is wounded in the line of duty. He says, ‘It’s either me or the force.’

Oh shit! Shit is getting real! So Toni is officially cheating on Greg with Dr. Clay Spencer and not only that, she’s come down with something serious... she has chlamydia! Alternatively, Joan is trying to find a way to get Sean to tell her, “I Love You”. So basically the more important story here is Toni. It’s starting to get juicy guys!
