THIS was recorded back in May, about two months BEFORE the SAG-AFTRA strike. We stand in COMPLETE SOLIDARITY with the actors & writers on strike. This is a Nettie solo episode! I’ve been watching a lot of tv lately and noticed an actress who really impressed me— Juani Feliz. Juani is a queer-actress best known for playing Isabela Benitez-Santiago in Amazon Prime’s series, Harlem. She honored me with the privilege of interviewing her, so I decided to open up our podcast feed to highlight her. We chat about some of her roles, co- stars and… Funyuns, Harvard & future roles. Shout Out to Neicy Smith for helping produce this episode.
For Youtube video:
Joan has a game night and it stirs up some fun conversation. Maya learns that Darnell may have slept with another woman the night before he remarried Lena.
** Wonky sound again this week, our apologies** Lynn feels pressured to consummate her civil union with Jennifer. Joan, Maya and Toni teach William's young girlfriend to stand up for herself.
Toni is suddenly overwhelmed by Todd's aggressive campaign for custody of Morgan, as he attempts to portray her as a bad mother. William & Joan are dealing with dating people way outside of their age groups and whether they can keep up with them or not.
