PJ currently plays Elder McKinley in Broadway's The Book of Mormon eight shows a week, and has still managed to create one of the most thrilling variety shows in the NYC nightlife circuit. Stage Time is a monthly downtown variety show at The Slipper Room that brings together the best of Broadway, drag, standup comedy, burlesque, circus and variety entertainment in one knock-out lineup. PJ is one of the smartest and boldest artists I know, and his show is a true showcase of just that. As the Emcee of the show every month, PJ sets the stage for his incredible ensemble of New York City artists with finesse. We talk about the intersectionality of all of the facets of art in this city, and how we need spaces to continue to bring them together. PJ is a gem, U don't wanna miss this episode!

Then Mary Ann and Suze share about their upcoming advocacy and fundraising project, Dancers For Harris, benefiting the Harris-Walz campaign. Together with a group of incredible artists, they have assembled a team of Broadway heavy-hitters to teach dance classes from coast to coast to raise money for Kamala Harris's presidential election campaign. From September 21st to 29th, they will be offering daily master classes with some of Broadway's best. These women are both such inspirations to me, U don't wanna miss this episode!

Jake shares about his experience making his bway debut in such an incredible show under the direction of Michael Arden and alongside people who he has looked up to for years. He talks about creating the original cast recording for the show, which was nominated for a GRAMMY Award. We also talk about the realities of sustaining a show 8 shows a week, and how we have to allow ourselves grace and time to rest. Jake's sweet pup Melvin even makes a cameo.
