Samm Joyy’s debut poetry collection, A Decade, is a series of diary entries chronicling the experiences and tracking her personal growth in her 20s. In our conversation, we talk about the the early encouragement she received from teachers and the support she continues to receive through the Spoken Word St. John’s community.

With Nerve, Ian’s made a significant shift from the lyrical music most of us know him for, but this move isn’t coming out of nowhere. In our conversation, he explains how this transition has been a gradual development and shares some of the artists who have inspired and influenced his latest creative expression.
