Ohio’s North Coast, known as “Steelhead Alley” has become a favorite destination for anglers across the country. Many of the diehard steelhead anglers we spoke with expressed concern over the number of fish in our streams. As with most fishing related issues it’s complicated and a combination of several factors. Today, our guest is Curt Wagner from the ODNR. We discuss Ohio’s steelhead program the past, present and future. Curt explains in detail what happened in the last few years that might have affected the return rate.
