Gen 1:25-26  The dominion was given to the man made in the image & likeness of God and the image of God is Christ. 

Jesus is the express image of the father. To know what the father looks like, look at Jesus. The greatest thing God did was to die.

John 1:3-13 In Jesus, we see the unity between God & Man.  As a believer you don’t consume every knowledge, you consume knowledge that helps your growth in Christ. In Jesus, we see God’s intent all along which is for man to be one with him.  His plan has always been oneness with man.

Matt 28:18-19 The preaching of the gospel is how we make men one with God.

Genesis 2:20-23: Marriage was God's plan and it is a physical institution that mirrors the relationship between Christ and the church.

Ephesians 5:25&28: The love a man should have for his wife should be the type that Jesus has for the church!

A sacrificial love. The word love used in Ephesians 5:28 is Agape love. It's unconditional and sacrificial love. It is not transactional, Unconditional love is consciously learnt before marriage! Unconditional love is the love that keeps loving even when the person is not at their best.

Condemnation doesn't build a relationship, it tears down. To measure  how much a person loves you, examine the 'love' through the word of God

John 13:34: The standard for love is how Christ has loved the church

Red Flags to note(1Corinthians 5:9-11)

1. Sex Crazed: A lust for sexual activities. 

2. Covetousness: Lust for money.

3. Idolatry: Elevating anything above God. 

4. Railer: Physically or mentally abuse. 

5. Drunkard: Given to wine

Submission is not a weakness. It is power under control.

Charisma   - Serving God Fervently

There is a race to run and every person on earth has a race to run and a time to run it. Ephesians 4:7-11 The ministry gifts are God’s gifts to us to perfect and furnish us with what we need to do ministry. No one ministry gift is greater than the other. 

Ephesians. 4:11 shows the order they first showed up in the church. Apostles, Prophets,... Teachers. As you listen to the word preached and serve in God’s house, you are being prepared for ministry. 

This preparation time is part of your training process.

Ministry (diakonia, Pronounced: dee-ak-on-ee'-ah) is service. How well you serve determines how high you are in ministry.  “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 KJV. Having a title or an office does not equate service. 

Ministry is carrying out God’s instructions. Ministry will cost you. Sometimes, it will cost you money, time, relationships, ambitions, covetousness. Give yourself to training. Value the training phase because it will keep you.

Logos

John1:1-14

John described a personality as the Word, Life. In verse 14, John said the personality became flesh.

That person is Jesus. This means Jesus is the word, life, and Light. In the beginning was the Logos (word).

Logos is a philosophical term that means the Logic and the explanation of a thing. Colossians 1:15 corroborates this by saying that Jesus is the image of the invisible. Meaning that Jesus is the explanation of the God we can't see. This means that even in the Old Testament, the explanation of God is Jesus. Any interpretation of scripture done outside the lens of Christ is a misinterpretation

John 4:46/John 1:18. Jesus said no man had seen God. For any man to see God, God had come in the form of man as Jesus

John14:9. If you have seen the Jesus, you have seen the Father!

Charisma - Necessary Spiritual Habits for a Supernatural Life

Spiritual Disciplines you must imbibe.

1. Attending training meetings. The Church is not just a family, it is primarily a training center. The knowledge bank in your church will determine your operating system i.e. how you reason. It is what you give attention to that you grow in.

2. The ability to listen and take notes well.

3. Praying in the Spirit. In the things of the Spirit, consistency is more important and powerful than intensity. Prayer appropriates the grace to live a Christian life.

4. Studying the word. There is a ministry of the Spirit that happens when you read the word. Listen to sermons that explains the word. Saturate your mind with the word.

Fruitful   Vine- The Believer's Conduct

Conduct is a very important aspect of Christian worship. The believer is not just saved through the remission of sins, but there is an infusion of the life of God in him. The man who hasn't received Christ hasn't received life, and there is a way he walks, for there is a spirit at work in him (the spirit of disobedience)

In Ephesians 2:1-4, we see who we were before we received Christ, but now we have been quickened. We are as alive to God as Christ is. Salvation is making dead men live. It is the translation from slavery to Son ship

The conduct of a man will tell you the kind of life at work in him. It is an anomaly for the man in Christ to live wrongly without remorse. The conduct and culture of the believer is love, and part of love is discipline. Love is the disposition of treating men and women through the lens of the finished work.

It is the unique character of God that deals with men in accordance to His purposes and plans independent of their failures. Love will make you choose to see things in a way that keeps you from offense. It will correct your perspective and keep you from envy.
