Who's ready to get spooooky? The boys start off the episode with some rude interruptions (thanks Shane), and then go right into their OK GREATs. Cory has levelled up his looks, had an elevator conflict and more building troubles; while Kisos is dealing with a nightmare house sale and a shit problem. THEN, it's time to get into today's topic: Ghosts and the Supernatural. Cory has a little treat for all the OK GREATers from his birth mother, and we learn that Kisos is absolutely terrified of everything that doesn't exist. Kisos shares his ghostly encounters from childhood, and Cory shares his mom's (sexual) encounter with a ghost in a bathroom. PLUS learn what your OK GREAT name is in a very underdeveloped new segment.

The boys are running on exhaust fumes from their recent encounter in NYC, but that doesn't stop them from going full speed ahead with this week's episode. First up, they address napkin and tip-gate 2021, where poll results are revealed about their recent feuds. THEN, they jump right into the OK GREATs, which are a mix of nostalgia and plane rides summoned by Jesus. THEN, they get into this week's hot topic: THE INTERNET. Both boys have lived in a world with and without the Internet, which has resulted in some very captivating tales including Cory's era as a sexually charged grandma and Kisos' romance with a Hawaiian catfish (or so we think). There's a ton of juicy, gushy, qweefy meat in this episode - you're about to be FED. Just don't call me late for dinner.

August 31, 2021 OK GREAT // Popping Dog Brains & Used Condoms: The NYC Episode Part One
The boys jump right in this week with their OK GREATs. Kisos has some big boy news to share, and Cory got some affirmative closure on his open wounds, in more ways than one.
Regular listeners know the boys will be MEETING FOR THE FIRST TIME in less than one week when Cory journeys to the wild wild west (aka. America - specifically, NYC). In preparation, they discuss their fave NYC experiences including Cory's city stories with Rupaul Drag Race's Tina Burner and Stacey McKenzie, and Kisos' visits with his mom. The non-itinerary is set while Cory is in town, and sadly his dog Curtis will have to stay home, in fear his brain might pop on the plane. You can smell the anxiety in Kisos' breath, but that could also be the lingerings of hotdogs and tortillas. YUM.
Look forward to a follow-up episode next week, and keep it glued to @okgreatpod for spontaneous live content over the weekend - as the boys will no doubt be up to much tomfoolery.

The boys kick the show off with some life updates: fast food is calling Cory's name, and Kisos is holding music conferences in the streets of NYC. Then OK GREATs of the week are revealed: Kisos has a serious bone (hehe) to pick with Cory about a nasty tweet he sent which resulted in their first "real-ish" conflict; while Cory gets vindication with THOSE PANTS and delivers an acceptance speech that could rival Meryl Streep (or Mamie Gummer). The main topic of the week is Elementary School, where the boys regale the "good old days" (at least, for Kisos) - sharing stories of child abduction, con-artistry and crying in class from kindergarten until grade three. All in all, a stand-up episode -- get your vegetables ready!
