Talk about going out on a high note! The Okoboji Summer Theatre concludes it's 63rd Season with Urinetown-The Musical. Returning director Paul Finocchiaro and longtime actor Rob Doyen bring a big cast performing a colossal musical complete with laughter and tunes in your head you'll be fondly remembering long after you exit the theatre.

The 1st weekend in August & beyond is speeding out of control at Arnolds Park Amusement Park.. Free movie in the Park tonight,  Rock the Roof, Rumble in the Roof ,The Blue Water Festival, entertainment in the Preservation Plaza beginning at 6:30 pm Saturday night with headliner Colbie Caillat, Slaughter Sunday night and the return of the BEACH BOYS next Tuesday. That's just the music & entertainment...picture a ride on the Queen II and memories at Iowa's favorite Amusement Park.

Stephen's College has two great productions this week both at the Okoboji Summer Theatre and Boji Bantam.  Stephen Brotebeck and Paitra Babb join me to talk about "Ken Ludwig's - The Gods of Comedy at OST and The Velveteen Rabbit with the Bantam at the Pearson Lakes Art Center. Sidesplitting comedy and a treasured children's story are on this week as the students get ready for their 2021 finale next week. Get tickets now!

If you can't get to Sturgis...Sturgis is coming to Okoboji next week. Okoboji Motorsports has set up a full day for biking enthusiasts or on their way to the biggest rally around. Tony Petersen and Ashley Werringa have been putting the tread to the pavement to make a full day from start to finish with visits from Jack Daniels and music just up the hill by Farm Rock at The Okoboji Barn.
