Six years. Kiley Miller CEO of the Iowa Lakes Corridor of Development Corp. has overseen the Corridor supporting more than 40 business recruitment and expansion projects, more than 190 entrepreneurs and start-up businesses, and the construction of more than 200 housing units. The organization also launched multiple new initiatives to answer the region’s worker shortage, support entrepreneurs and business executives, and help local towns become more competitive in attracting and retaining businesses and families. Kiley leaves NW Iowa in February but he has much to be proud of with growth and development for the four county area the Corridor serves.

If you don't know Discovery's purpose..meet Julie Scheib the Executive Director.  Discovery House has worked as a shelter and a beacon for those struggling with substance abuse and determined to gain control of their lives.  You may be amazed at how this small organization has changed the lives of so many over the years with help from people like you.  What Discovery House does is essential and we are fortunate to have such a facility in the Iowa Great Lakes.

This Holy season we have great House's of Worship bringing the Christmas message in many ways. St. Joseph's Catholic Church is presenting a virtual "One Silent Night" on Christmas Eve.
