This Sunday we’re going to consider why the Gospel (the Good News) is really, really, really good news! We’re in Revelation 15 & 16. Dr. Paul Spilsbury, professor at Regent College Vancouver writes, “As the last book of the bible it has a special significance: it is a kind of climax or grand finale to the biblical story. No one likes to abandon an epic just a few pages before the end. Knowing how it all turns out is vital for our understanding of the book as a whole.”

The Book of Revelation is full of imagery and fascinating ‘creatures’…and the Supernatural realm comes to life through these pages! We’ll be exploring Revelation 14 and asking questions like, Who is the Lamb? What does it mean to follow the Lamb. What is ‘Supernatural Worship?’

Apocalyptic writing is a 2,000 year old art form and we make a grave mistake when we over analyze and force interpretations onto works of art. Listen as the surreal colours of this abstract set of images create both emotion and wonder.

What does it mean to live in a supernatural world? Jesus continues to be very active around us. Through the gospels we saw Him active in the flesh, in the Book of Revelation John invites us to see our resurrected and exalted Lord at work in our world today. Over the next 3 Sundays we are reviewing a segment of Revelation that is best read together (Revelation 12, 13 & 14).

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the climax and turning point of history, and I hope you’ll invite friends and family to join us at OAC this Easter Sunday!
