Several days before Jesus’ trial, execution and then glorious resurrection, He entered Jerusalem to the cheers and adulation of many, and the alarm of others. The gospel writers have each afforded us their perspective on what took place, and you and I are invited into the account and add our perspective on OUR encounter with this man Jesus. What has encountering Jesus done in your life? This Sunday we’re going to consider those around the triumphal entry of Jesus, and invite one another into the narrative. I want to invite you to come and stand on the Mount of Olives with me as we enter into what the Christian church has called “Holy Week” …the week that led to the events that changed everything! If you’d like to read the text in advance, we will be in Matthew 20:1-22. I hope to see you at either the 9 am or 11 am service this Sunday!

This Sunday we’re going to review the Gospel “Snapshot” of Jesus as He interacts with people who are praying. “Lord, teach us to pray!?” Let me invite you to come with request, in particular, and we will trust that His desire to meet us in this request.
