Our world is longing for peace, and it is available ! Jesus Christ is our peace (Eph. 2:14), and He is making a new humanity out of those who were formerly living in hatred of one another! Did you know that this is what you are called to and who we are as the church? I’m looking froward to worshipping together with you this Sunday! Young and old, rich and poor, ethnically diverse, culturally diverse, educationally diverse …we are the church and Jesus Christ is our chief cornerstone, and He indwells this temple that we are being fitted together to become His dwelling place! What does it mean for you to “be alive”? Paul uses some challenging words in this text, which followers of Jesus need to understand. If I don’t know what I’ve been saved from, I won’t appreciate what I have been saved to. And if I don’t understand what has happened in this exchange, I won’t be aspiring for all that God intends. Join us this Sunday at 9 or 11 am as we explore “death”, “life” and “God's great love for us” and the “good works” He’s prepared for you to do!

I am thankful, as I see the good work that God is doing in peoples lives at Okotoks Alliance Church, and long that we would receive the blessing that the Apostle Paul prays over his congregations and ours alike. This Thanksgiving Sunday we will continue in our series “Who Do You Think We Are?”, based in Ephesians 1:15-23. I hope you can join us for worship this Sunday at 9am or 11am. Bring your kids to our fabulous “Kidzone”, and bring your worship to join with ours, as we sing and pray and open God’s word together!
