  • Afritunes week118// "Strong tower" by Nathaniel bassey (cover)@oladayo1
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=oladayo1/axbttyla
Good day music lovers, Welcome to another week of Afritunes (week118), may the lord bless you all(Amen).
My Entry "Strong Tower" means that the name of Jesus is a source of:
    - Protection: A strong tower provides a safe refuge from harm or danger.
    - Strength: A strong tower represents a powerful and secure foundation.
    - Safety: A strong tower offers a place of shelter and defense.
In essence, the song suggests that the name of Jesus is a powerful and reliable refuge for believers, providing:
    - Spiritual protection from evil or temptation
    - Strength in times of weakness or uncertainty
    - Safety and security in the midst of life's challenges.
By declaring "Your name is a strong tower, Jesus", one is affirming their trust and faith in Jesus' power and protection, seeking shelter and guidance in His name.
This song is not just a song to but it makes me believe and have strong faith in God, because, I know with God everything is possible and I am save in his arm. His love for me is supernatural and no one can render that for me. I am the lords own. May you be blessed as you listen.
    Lyrics
Your name is a strong tower, Jesus
To you belong all power, Jesus
Whenever I call your name, You make a way
Your name is strong tower, Jesus
Solo: When we pray in the name of Jesus
Every knee every knee must bow
When we pray in the name of Jesus
Every knee every knee must bow
Your name is a bulldozer, Jesus
To you belong all power, Jesus
Whenever i call your name, you make a way
Your name is a strong tower, Jesus.

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=oladayo1/avgpfuym
Hello Music Lovers, It is a privilege to welcome you all to a new week of open mic(week218), may the lord bless the week(amen).
My entry for this week, which is an hymnal song "there is not a friend like the lowly Jesus" expresses the idea that Jesus is a unique and precious friend, who is always present and available to provide comfort, support, and guidance.
The phrase "lowly Jesus" refers to Jesus' humility and willingness to identify with the poor, the marginalized, and the oppressed. It highlights his compassion, kindness, and love for all people, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Also, it is often interpreted to mean that Jesus is:
    - A faithful friend who never abandons or betrays
    - A compassionate listener who understands our struggles
    - A gracious helper who provides strength and guidance
    - A loving companion who offers forgiveness and acceptance
Overall, the word "Lowly Jesus" celebrates the special bond between Jesus and those who seek him. Also, the comfort and peace that comes from his presence in our lives.
    Lyrics
Verse1: There's not a friend, like the lowly Jesus
no not one, no not one
none else could heal all our souls diseases
no not one, no not one.
chrs: Jesus knows all about our struggles,
he will guide till the day is done,
therevs nota friend like the lowly Jesus
No not one, no not one.
verse2: No friend like him is so high and holy,
no not one, no not one,
And yet no friend is so meek and holy,
no not one, no not one.
    -back to chorus.....

My Entry for the week214 "Because you Live" is a song i admire so much, this song simply define and reveal to me that, God lives, I live. I can do all things with God, I have no fear cause i Know i have a greater one in me, the one, greater than the world. Today may seem fearful, draining and confusing but I have that faith that God is on my side, i can never go a day without being a partaker of God's blessings. God is faithful, if you can really put all your energy, your all on him.
    lyrics.....
    You paid the price

    Am so grateful
    For your love
    You took my place
    Now I stand
To be called your very own
    Because you live
    Jesus I live
    I have no fear
    Of what tomorrow brings
    Because you live
    Jesus I live today
I live to praise your name.

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=oladayo1/jrgimyrm
My bosses in the house, i hail you all, also using this medium to say it is another week of Afritune's Singingvoice, may it be filled with happiness all through(Amen).
I basically want to use this song "Motirenikeji mi" this week as have said in the video, for my very person, Someone close to my heart, to showcase how i am really and dearly missing her. Love is indeed sweet when you have a virtuous and right woman this does not means we dont fight but trust me the importance of finding someone who shares your values, respects you, and loves you for who you are, making the love you share a sweet and treasured experience is the best feeling ever, I wont want to go a day without hearing her voice because of the everyday prayer and advice for me, she is indeed God sent. I do not really believe in Love until i met this lady, such a wonder and God fearing one. She has been there for me through thin and thick which i count as blessing from God to me, May God bless you all....

  • Afritunes week111// "Ogo" by Dunsin Oyekan ft Theophilus (Capella free style)@Oladayo1
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=oladayo1/hvuyenec
Hello music lovers, welcome to a new week of Afritunes, Week 111, may the blessings of the lord never elude us while we praise God.
My song for the new week of Afri-tunes is titled "Ogo" meaning "Glory". The song expresses praise and worship to God, with a focus on His glory and majesty and "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and praise!". Also the song is an expression of joy, triumph and celebration of God's power and majesty.
Thinking about this song entirely and the lyrics, i feel exalted listening to this song, circumstances should not hold down God's own cause God has everything in his abode, we only need to praise God and he will for sure come down with blessings. In my research, i have learnt God works rapidly at the midst of people exalting him than people asking from him. It is just a simple logic , "You praise God, blessings come down". May God keep glorifying himself in our lifes. stay good and enjoy....
    LYRICS
    Ogo ogo, Hallelujah
    To the lamb,
    To the lamb.
    We won't stop loving you
    We wont stop praising you
    Forever and ever
    Forever and ever.

  • Open Mic Week211 // Ogenedo by Frank edward (Capella free style) @oladayo1
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=oladayo1/oazbjvsk
Hello music lovers, welcome to a new week of Hive Open Mic, Week 211, may the new week be blessings filled.
My song for this week is titled "Oghene do" by "Frank Edward" , "Oghene do" is a phrase in the Urhobo language of Nigeria and it roughly translates to "God come" or "God is coming" in English. However, the phrase is often used mostly in:
    - Expressing hope for a better future: "Oghene do, things will get better.
-Expressing gratitude for a blessing or good fortune: "Oghene do, thank God for this gift
Now, this song literally came to my mind just when i felt no help is coming, God that said do not put your trust in men, knows what he is doing, Trusting God is the best thing any man can hold on to. God is the realiable best friend one can have, he doesnt fail nor disappoint his own. Also, I do bless God for the gift of life , because,it is when you are alive you think of tommorow, the dead can't think of tommorow. I am an example of God's chosen, the breath of God is enough for me. I pray to enjoy as u watch.
    Lyrics
Whenever I call you are there
Whenever I pray Lord you hear me
I'm not alone this I know
What can I bring to you Lord
    But this song of praise.
    oghene do ooo
For the things you've done for me
Kiri do do do Kiri do
    For the life you gave
You brought me close to you
Kiri do do do kiri do
And you called me your own
