On this week’s ‘Old Crimson Podcast, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by former All-American safety Paul Sorensen, Jim Moore and we get a quick report from Jamey Vinnick from Cougfan.com at the start of the show with the breaking news that Gonzaga is joining the Pac-12.  What’s next for the conference since they need to add one more school for football.  Puck and Jim would like to circle back to UNLV, but Paul likes Memphis. 

Tackling continues to be the issue for the Cougars and there defense was overpowered for the second straight week by a Mountain West school.  That raises a huge red flag! 

Bye week is critical for the health of the football team, in particular the health of QB John Mateer, who is taking an absolute beating the last few games. If it keeps up he won’t last the season 

Despite the loss, the Cougars still have a great opportunity to run the rest of their schedule, but in order to do so, some major changes need to take place with their defense.
