Old Guys Playing Games

This is the week we've been eagerly awaiting for quite some time - the launch of Call of Duty Vanguard!  Hear the old guys share their thoughts on the latest edition of the COD series.  You know that's not all they cover on this episode, but we just can't spoil all the fun.  You have to tune in to listen to all the nooks and crannies and #Activision we have some great ideas for you on Vanguard!

This is an episode that we had to reclaim from the cutting room floor as we had some audio issues to say the least.  This is before we all got proper mics.  Ken hosts and we all try to put up with Stu's horrible echo from his mic, but it was such great discussion we had to keep it.  Well done to Ken for some magic on the mixdown to get it to a point that we were willing to share with you all.

The guys talk about one of their favorite seasons of CoD - the Halloween Season.  It's now Season 6 of Call of Duty and it has a really cool set of experiences based on the movie franchise Scream.  The old guys love it and are still chasing down all of the challenges.  They also talk about the heavily anticipated Call of Duty Vanguard that drops very very soon and they can't wait.  We dig into what game started these guy's obsessions with First Person Sh00ter games and then also have a fun round robin about which retro game should be re-done or reimagined and this clearly is a hot debate - as they certainly do not agree with each other on this one.  All this and more !

The guys dig into the age-old Console vs. PC gaming debate and share their thoughts on why one of them is superior.  Is there really a debate though?  Also, they recall their fondest Arcade memories and then each mention what they consider to be the worst game ever.  Will you guess what they share?  Find out on this latest episode of Old Guys Playing Games.

One of the things they mentioned was this cool arcade game museum in Tarpon Springs, FL called Replay Museum | Amusment Museum  Maybe the guys will check it out and record an episode on location.  Check it out   ReplayMuseum (@ReplayMuseum)

The guys do a quick first reactions to the latest in the Call of Duty franchise, #Vanguard, which is currently in public beta.  They also share their thoughts on mobile (phone) gaming.  #COD #CallOfDuty  #MobileGaming

How well do you think you could guess games on this list?  We used the IMDB ranking of the top 25 of 1980 and let's see how well the guys were able to guess the top games of that coveted decade in videogames.  #videogames #80sgames #arcades #nintendo

Where else can you hear about what bonds a couple sets of old guys like the advent of video games in the late 70s, 80s and 90s? I mean really.  These old pals talk about where their video game days started and then take a walk down a veritable memory lane of their favorite games, gaming systems and everything around the edges.  #xbox #videogames #gaming #pong #nintendo #colecovision #oldtimegamers
