Come one, come all and gather as we sit down late on a work night to discuss Battles' 2007 debut LP, "Mirrored"! Well, at least that was the plan. We do talk about the album, but we happen to talk a lot more about other things. Internet smut, the fact that guest host Tom Ribeiro of Second Class Cinema is actually artificial intelligence, and theories about "Mirrored" as well as Dustin Diamond also pop up. Oh, and we talked a lot about a chimpmanzee (sic) that was named Oliver. He stood up straight, had a winning smile, and wore boxers.

On this installment the Old Boys hunker down at Patrick's locale to listen to Unknown Mortal Orchestra's 2011 self-titled debut. We're joined this week by local writer and car mechanic Ben Hauthaway as we examine this record, Jim's (unverified) theory that Stevie Wonder is actually not blind, and midwestern hospitals that can't seem to get it together. And then we eat McDonald's.

Join us as we take an adventure to the north Atlantic to spend an hour with our close personal friends in Sigur Rós! And by that we mean complete strangers whom one of us has paid money to see perform on exactly one occasion.We're joined by photographer extraordinaire Jarrod Staples as we discuss Reykjavík's masters of post rock's fourth album, 2005's "Takk...". We spent a lot of time once again discussing meat and milk, and we begin to touch upon Patrick's potential McDonald's problem.

Have you ever eaten horse? It's a good meat. That's what Christopher says, anyway, as we discuss Foals' 2013 album "Holy Fire". We're joined by special guest Tyler Loiselle as we descend upon Jim's basement to discuss feed bags, the ol' squirrell in the pants shenanigan, and for some reason, in the year of our lord 2018, The Temper Trap.

Join us Old Boys as we revisit the fantastic 1978 debut from the Cars with special guest Phil Fleming (Dweezil Show on WMFO, Ease Into The Noise), a record that we have probably collectively have listened to 900 times. I mean, it's like barely over a half hour long. So dive on in and soak in the dulcet tones of four grown men waxing poetic on this record, movie popcorn, and a veritible treasure trove of disjointed nonsense.

We're joined by Adam Schneider of Big Time Kill as we discuss how the D-Plan may have been soothsayers, are not actually a metal band, and have the best rhythm section of all of late 90s indie rock. We also manage to talk about the album here and there.

Join us as we traverse across the tense United States/Canadian border to have a fifty plus minute party with our good pals in Rush. As they go "grunge", we go deep on discussing it with special guest Jon Sasor (of Gramlins and people being unable to pronounce his name fame). Naturally we discuss Canadians and their wonderful culture with the respect you've come to expect from us.

Jim has at long last returned, and we gave Peter Gabriel's third self-titled album (nicknamed "Melt") a listen and discussed. We managed to also talk about Japan (the place), Japan (the band), Maine hangovers, and the nascent workshop to studio movement.

LET THE GREAT EXPERIMENT BEGIN!! Today for Christopher's pick, he decided to make Jim listen to an album with which he has zero familiarity: Depeche Mode's dark opus from 1993, "Songs of Faith and Devotion". We find out that drummers get upset when they don't hear drums, that there may be some Andrew Lloyd Webber stuff going on (short of the plagiarism), and that Christopher is indeed a sadboy.
