Ecclesiastes laments the injustice in the world and cries out for justice. This points us toward Jesus who brings about God’s justice through establishing shalom (peace) on earth and in our lives.

We often want to know, ‘what is God’s will for my life?’ But what if the question really is, ‘what is God’s will for God’s life?’ That can re-orientate us to better understand God’s will and how we can align our lives with it.

A love affair gone wrong.

We all want wisdom, but it’s difficult to define and hard to attain. True, biblical wisdom is shaped by Jesus, but not in the way we might think. 

The pursuit of pleasure is common to humanity, but it often leaves us dissatisfied. Is it wrong to pursue pleasure, or is it that we are simply pursuing the wrong things?

Ecclesiastes brings us face to face with the reality that life is crooked and we can’t straighten it. For The Quester, this evoked despair. But Jesus gives us another way of responding to chaos in life.

Life often seems tragic, meaningless, monotonous and circular. But through Jesus, God has intervened in the meaningless of life to bring hope and meaning into life.
