Opposition is certain when we're all in for Jesus. So we cannot be self centered, while trying to be about that life. Let's make up our minds to be bold. We will not be moved, nor will we be silenced, but we will stand on His word and declare His name great in all the earth.

Prayer, it is equivalent to calling someone in order to communicate. Yet, most of us don’t even know how to pick up the phone. Not only do we need to start praying, but we need to start praying bold prayers out loud. Keeping His words to ourselves isn’t going to help grow His Kingdom.

We can't stand still and carry the message of Jesus, because the Church is a movement that requires participation. The mission is calling you to willingly move, not just go through motions. Now go step outside of your comfort zone, and reach beyond the walls.

There are times where unfaithfulness to His word is unintentional. We get carried away with everyday lives and put certain minorities above the main priority. So we blame the one who can make a move in our current situation, believing Jesus doesn’t notice the storms in our lives. If we could only recognize His presence in the mist of it all. He shows up at all times, but are we showing up at the right time?

Just because your situation looks dead, that does not mean it is. The enemy has attacked your mind with thorns of negativity, and wants you to surrender in defeat. Yet Jesus has come to conquer it all just so you can be made whole. What once appeared dead, will rise to life again.

Leadership requires knowing who you are, yet who you are is based on who you come from. And you are a child of God, that will never change! Don't confuse your identity with the roles you are given to fulfill His purpose. Remember that a great leader focuses on the vision and not the position.

If we're going to be successful in our walk with God we need to make sure we're in His presence. Taking the time to pray, read, and fast helps us to grow in our relationship with Him. We should strive to develop daily in obedience, knowing we can't do our own thing, while trying to thrive in God.

Is submitting to God equivalent to surrendering unto Him? The answer is No, surrender goes much deeper into a relationship with God. Yet, both of these are required of us throughout our walk with Christ. Jesus used prayer as his defensive weapon. Which inevitably makes prayer the ultimate submission. Without it during our suffering, or our low place, we cannot voluntarily choose His will over our own.

Sometimes we find ourselves so focused on what God promised us, that we forget the purpose he's given us. When we're faithful and obedient to His plan, everything else will fall into place. But you can't receive what God has for you following Him at a distance. So the question is, do you want to close the gap?
