  • MEITAL DOHAN
MTV’s buzzworthy artist Meital talks about her brand new single “On Ya” featuring platinum recording artist Sean Kingston. A trailer of the hotly tipped Meital/Sean Kingston single can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEyI8ur4njQ. Meital shot the stunning music video for “On Ya” with famed director RayKay (Lady Gaga’s “Pokerface,” Britney Spears’ “Till The World Ends,” Justin Bieber’s “Baby.”)   "Interview" magazine recently premiered “On Ya;” in addition, Meital returned  to Showtime’s “Weeds” for the 100th episode milestone where “The Botwin family” returns to their hometown and run into a familiar face, namely, Meital’s “Yael Hoffman.” The comeback of the controversial character has been highly anticipated. Meital plays the head of a rabbinical school who is pursued by "Andy Botwin," played by another former Olivia Wilder guest, Justin Kirk, who's looking to enroll in Hebrew School. As "Andy" soon finds out, "Yael" will make him jump through hoops and may even be a “pain in his ass,” (for those who  recall Meital’s story arch in the series’ 2nd season.)   Meital’s upcoming full-length single is "I’m In Hate with Love." The quintuple-threat, (singer/actress/comedian/playwright/author) is amazed by the fast reaction to her debut single, “Yummy,” which has already reached over 1.85 Million YouTube views in just one month, and made it the #1 globally-trending video in May. The MTV Buzzworthy video for “Yummy” can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4JWVzAvXIk.

  • THE EC TWINS
In the massive dance music revolution sweeping the industry, the E.C. Twins (Marc & Allister) are rising stars. Originally from Manchester, England, U.K., they quickly dominated their adopted hometown, Los Angeles' ever-changing music scene. Their impact has been made on the West Coast, with their incredibly infectious high-energy shows, signature good looks and trademark stage presence. Having performed at every major venue in LA, including Avalon, Playhouse, the Playboy Mansion, and as creators of the legendary XIV day parties, and launching house music as the new sounds of the city, they now also hold monthly residencies at the infamous "Marquee" (Las Vegas), "Mansion" (Miami), "Enclave" (Chicago), "Supperclub" (LA), and "Revel" (Atlantic City). THey have also played the Electric Daisy Carnival and Coachella in recent years.    The E.C. Twins' remix of Adele's iTunes topping hit, "Someone Like You," climbed quickly to the top of the Sirius/XM radio chart and with a new track, "You've Never Seen," out on Spinnin' Records, featuring an original vocal by 90's dance music icon, CeCe ton ("Finally"), they are keeping new productions coming, and continue to carve out their piece of the dance music movement as highly sought-after producers and remixers.    When not DJing, Marc & Allister enjoy being foodies, writing music and bike riding through the hills and back roads of Santa Monica and Malibu, so much so that they are sponsored by “Everybody’s Nuts” Pistachios and Rock & Republic Jeans for their rides.     Hear their Adele remix here: http://tinyurl.com/77gmtlr   website: http://ectwinsmusic.com/

  • SHINY AND THE SPOON
Amber Nash and Jordan Neff met at an Oktoberfest party four years ago and within weeks were personally involved and professionally linked in a ukelele-centric Folk/Bluegrass duo that they dubbed "Shiny and the Spoon."  For a spell, both Nash and Neff were roll-called as members of Magnolia Mountain, but they broke ranks last year to concentrate on SATS and the most immediate result of that increase in time and energy is "Ferris Wheel," the duo’s debut full-length CD.
At first blush, Nash and Neff seem like a standard issue Folk duo, but SATS is far from typical. “Snowflake,” the lead-off track on "Ferris Wheel," is an example. While strummed acoustic guitar intro and lightly touched upright bass suggest a familiar structure, Nash’s tremulous upper register vocal is more reminiscent of ’60s AM radio Pop chicks and contemporary Indie Folk/Rock chanteuses. But the pair quickly slides into a swirling atmospheric soundscape and “Snowflake” begins to breathe with a compelling and melancholy sigh that transcends their chosen genre.
Not every song on "Ferris Wheel" follows this template, but it stakes a sonic claim that exponentially expands Shiny and the Spoon’s parameters. At Ferris Wheel’s midpoint Nash  and Neff offer their spectacular Indie Folk version of a-ha’s Synth Pop hit “Take On Me,” and continues on “Run,” which mixes Gillian Welch and David Rawlings and a mariachi interlude. On “Killin’ the Flower,” Nash croons with the traditional modernism of k.d. lang while evoking Charlie Rich's piano bench.
"Ferris Wheel" truly establishes the duo as acolytes of the dusty past and visionaries of a bright future.

  • HEATHER AND TERRY DUBROW: RHOOC
Breakout stars of the notorious Bravo hit show “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Heather and Terry Dubrow’s sophistication, classic style, love of family, magnetic personalities and unsurpassed wit are the reasons viewers are tuning in every week to watch a show that scandalously chronicles the lives of five women in one of Southern California's wealthiest communities. Heather Dubrow successfully manages a Superwoman kind of persona, as a busy Mom who blends Hollywood and household with her world-renowned plastic surgeon husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow and their four children, which include 8-year old boy and girl twins, and 5-year old and 10 month old daughters. As "Housewives" favorites, the Dubrows shine on camera as a power couple juggling their family life with multiple business ventures. No stranger to the spotlight, Heather was a quadruple threat who spent her life performing as a singer, dancer, pianist, and actress before dedicating her life to become a fulltime mom. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Syracuse University, she moved to Los Angeles to persue her acting dreams, and enjoyed starring roles in "Married..With Children," "Nowhere Man," "Life with Roger," "Early Edition," and many more. Terry Dubrow completed an extensive medical program at both Yale and UCLA and was both a successful plastic surgeon and eligible bachelor when a friend arranged a blind date with Heather Paige Kent, whom he'd seen in "Life with Roger," and they married three years later. Terry promised Heather that she could pursue  her acting career if she headlined her own show. A few months later, she was cast as the lead in "That's Life." Terry has appeared as an expert on "The View" and other shows, and Dr. Oz calls him one of the top plastic surgeons in the world.

  • ANITA MOORJANI: DYING TO BE ME
Anita Moorjani has become something of an international sensation since her book "Dying to be Me" hit the New York Times bestsellers but 2 weeks after its release in March, 2012. She had experienced what most people never have; she "crossed over," and came back to share what she learned. Her remarkable NDE (Near-death experience) and subsequent healing from end-stage cancer is one of the most amazing cases ever recorded. Doctors had given her mere hours to live when she arrived at the hospital in a coma on the morning of February 2, 2006. Unable to move, and in a deep coma as the result of the cancer that had ravaged her body for nearly four years, Anita entered another dimension, where she experienced great clarity and understanding of her life and purpose here on earth, and was given a choice of whether to return to life or not. Anita chose to return to life when she realized that "heaven" is a state, and not a place. This subsequently resulted in a remarkable and complete recovery of her health within days of her return.   Born in Singapore of Indian parents, Anita has lived in Hong Kong most of her life. She is multi-lingual, and from the age of two, grew up speaking English, Cantonese, and an Indian dialect simultaneously. She had been working in the corporate field for several years before her cancer diagnosis in 2002.    Anita is often invited to speak globally to share her insights. She appeared in Dr. Wayne Dyer's "Wishes Fulfilled," aired frequently on PBS and the OWN network. She is the embodiment of the truth tat we all have the inner power and wisdom to overcome even life's most adverse situations, as she is the living proof of this possibility. ***Two lucky listeners who phone in will win copies of Anita's wonderful book! website: http://www.anitamoorjani.com
