  • Reality Steve Returns
"Reality Steve," as fans of reality television and particularly "The Bachelor/ette" shows will be visiting to talk about the current "Bachelor," Brad Womack, and give us his insightful predictions.
"RS" was born in the Bronx, but grew up in Orange County, California, lived in Texas, then back to California, where he graduated with a degree in Communications from Loyola Marymount University.
Steve became a radio sports broadcaster following his graduation in LA, becoming acquainted with a lot of people in the entertainment industry, which served him well when he started doing his Reality Steve blog. Though he never divulges sources, he admits that it's great to have "friends," and "people who know people," in his uncannily accurate predictions of reality shows scandals, and even outcomes. "The Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" franchises are his favorites, and he is committed to recapping each and every episode, often putting his thoughts, opinions, and feedback in his blog into the wee hours of the morning.
How real does he think the show is? "How realistic is it to believe two people can meet and fall in love in a matter of six weeks?" he says, though admitting to the possibility of it happening a small percentage of the time. He is committed to honesty, integrity, and fair play.

  • RICK AND "MA" FAIRLESS
    MA'S ROADHOUSE
Rick Fairless segued from a successful paint company to realizing a dream in opening an Easy Rider custom bike shop in the Dallas area in 1996, imprinted with his own whimsical style, incorporating goofy statues, funny pictures, and great motorcycle memorabilia into the 1930's building. Two years later, he opened Stroker's Ice House Bar & Grill next door to the motorcycle shop, furthering his dream of owning a place where one could hang out all day with their buddies, have a beer, and show off their bikes.
When Easyriders dropped the franchise plan in 2002, all stores were required to take a new name or close. It was a no-brainer for Rick to rename his bike shop, "Strokers Dallas," known as the "best biker hangout in Texas," and he added "Strokers Ink Tattoo and Piercing Parlor" to complete the Stroker's trio. The three businesses pull in thousands of customers weekly.
This past fall, TruTV put on a popular reality based television series, "Ma's Roadhouse," which features Rick's own "Ma," Sharon Fairless, who: "smokes like a chimney, drinks like a fish, and cusses like a sailor." The quick-witted 71 year old says any and everything that crosses her mind, unfiltered or censored. Always in the eye of the storm when trouble arises at Stroker's, "Ma" is forever ready with a mischievous smile to offer unsolicited advice, and remind everyone of their shortcomings. Still, she is respected and loved by all who meet her, mainly because of their feelings about their own grandmothers. Even with her sharp tongue & sarcasm, her love for her family is in the forefront.

  • JERRY DELLA SALLA
    GREEN ZONE
Jerry Della Salla is currently seen in the newly released "Green Zone" film from Universal, as 'Sgt. Wilkins,' who is the right hand man of 'Miller,' played by Matt Damon.
The movie is about a US Army officer who goes rogue after discovering covert and faulty intelligence as he hunts for Weapons of Mass Destruction in an unstable region, a case of art imitating life for Jerry. He signed up for the Reserves after 911, and found himself serving in the Middle East, in Iraq, during OIF-3 as a member of the 306th MP Battalion that had the task of replacing the units responsible for the scandals that the movie was based on.
Jerry Della Salla served at Abu Ghraib from late 2004, through most of 2005, both as frontline MP and Medical Administrator, and was wounded in action during a base attack that occurred on April 2, 2005, now widely known as the "Battle at Abu Ghraib."
Before joining the army and after returning home, Jerry acted in off-Broadway production and independent films when he heard that the "Green Zone" director, Paul Greengrass, was looking to cast actual veterans in the film. He went in and got the part. Jerry studied acting with Stella Adler, and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
