The International Olympic Committee banned Russia from competing in international competition back in 2019 for running a statewide doping program. However...you wouldn't realize Russia was banned from the Olympics...since they've won 52 medals thus far in Tokyo.

However...the IOC is now investigating Russia for anti-LGBT commentary made on Russian television. We discuss the irony of the Olympics not caring about a statewide doping program...but taking seriously anti-LGBT remarks.

We give our reason why the Olympics are taking this investigation seriously in public...but explain that no punishment will be given to Russia.
