This remix is my interpretation of “I Am” through an Afro House lens, taking the raw emotion and vulnerability in Omah Lay’s vocals and placing them into a deeper, more immersive sonic space.
I wanted to preserve the soul of the original while elevating the energy, blending warm percussion, rolling basslines, and atmospheric textures that create both movement and introspection. It’s that balance between feeling something deeply and still being able to move with it.
