It’s an ecosystem built around entrepreneurship, investing, ownership, technology, community and long-term wealth. But today, one question from the stage stayed with me: “Who’s gonna be on stage next?” So I’m putting one of my goals into the universe: Invest Fest 2027, I want to be on that stage. Not just to speak, but because I want what we’re building with OmaxBooks to become meaningful enough to deserve that conversation. Sometimes a goal becomes more real the moment you’re willing to say it out loud.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For the third year in a row, I traveled to Atlanta for Invest Fest, an incredible gathering of more than 40,000 people, primarily Black, talking about business, investing, ownership, technology, culture and legacy. From Nick Cannon and Steve Harvey to Rico Love and Ray Daniels, today’s conversations kept coming back to the same principles: build before you ask for support, master your craft, understand what you own, and put yourself in the right rooms. Last year, one of those rooms connected OmaxBooks with Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings. This year reminded me why I keep coming back. Sometimes one conversation changes your strategy. Sometimes the room itself changes what you believe is possible.

After watching the final episode of Raising Kanan, I started thinking about what 50 Cent and the team behind Power really created. They didn’t just build a successful TV series. They turned one story into characters, spin-offs, timelines, and an entire universe. There’s a powerful business lesson here: maybe we don’t always need another idea.
