Gal 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Paul is exhorting the reality of walking in the Spirit and how to do it. The Greek word for "gratify" is τελέσητε telesete. This has the idea of from the time of conception of idea to doing it or finishing it. When Jesus used the word Τετέλεσται "it is finished" on the cross, the plan of the ages was finished. When you have a prophecy or a word of knowledge, it comes with a same power to complete it.

We see in these verses St.Paul address questions such as if justification is by faith, then what is the role of the law? In brief he answers that the law that came 430 years later cannot repeal or revoke what is promised by God to Abraham.
