This woman is the Oracle of a beautiful family wedding retreat space, an activator for couples to face their shadows and heal their ancestral lineage on one of the biggest days of their life, and is a thriving mother who was met with her own inner shadows during her postpartum journey that has amplified her passion for this work even more!
Kristen Lee Mansourian is a postpartum psychosis survivor, author, and the founder of The Elysian Retreat—an intimate gathering space in Sedona for couples, families, and facilitators who want more than just a celebration.
In this episode, Kristen shares how surviving postpartum psychosis sharpened her purpose and opened her eyes to something most of us overlook: when generational trauma goes unspoken, it doesn’t disappear—it shows up in the everyday. In the tension at the dinner table. In the silence between partners. In the moments we wish felt different.
She built The Elysian Retreat before her breakdown, but her healing gave it its heart: a space where families don’t just gather, they grow. Where connection is the point—not just a backdrop.
This is a conversation about legacy, relationships, and why maybe the most radical thing we can do... is gather on purpose.
