Just as the angry mob in Nazareth failed to recognize the calm, peaceful Jesus because they were blinded by their own false expectations, many today reject the Church based on a hateful caricature of rigid judgment, thereby missing Christ's gentle, enduring invitation to embrace His perennial teachings and undergo the difficult but necessary changes that lead to true peace and salvation.
