As the crisis on the Ukrainian border intensifies, several Jewish National Fund-USA affiliates have been providing crucial aid to refugees fleeing the area. One such organization is MAKOM, which is sending delegations to the border to  provide refugees with food, essential supplies, emotional support, and more. Host Steven Shalowitz sits down with Omri Ben Horin, a MAKOM volunteer who just returned from Ukraine. They discuss bringing kosher chocolate for the children they meet, collaborating with the local Jewish organizations, and the life-changing interactions he had with people at the border.
