Life is meant to be enjoyed.  Especially if you're YOUNGER because LIFE is God's gift to us.  But right now in our culture, life is hard, confusing, and depressing.  

Instead of living lives CONNECTED, we're isolated.  BUT God has a plan for us to sow seeds of service and love for His Kingdom being generous like HE is.

How well do you know 18-25 year-olds?  And how can we grow in relationship together so that we can help them and they can help us to be more like Christ?  How can we encourage one another to ENJOY the LIFE God has given to us?

Let's revisit On Our Way Home and listen as Faith, Lynnea, and Ryan work through Ecclesiastes 11 and encourage one another and YOU to live with faith in Jesus now!

The longer we walk by faith with Jesus, the more we know that life with Jesus is all about the BASICS.

Entering through the NARROW WAY and staying on the narrow way is best.  The amazing thing is that this narrow way isn't RESTRICTIVE, but is like a funnel getting wider and wider as you move out.

Life with Jesus is all about greater FREEDOM.  Life lived for self is greater bondage as sin makes us more of a slave to sin.  Jesus gives us an abundant life that makes a free to live a life of LOVE and all the other fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus' teaching is amazing.  He taught as someone who had authority, because is the ONE with ultimate authority.

Reminding ourselves of some of the life impacting parts of the Sermon on the Mount is really good to do.  I may not be doing what I know is good.

Knowing is good but DOING is best.  Watch and listen to Joel and Ryan as they wrap up the Sermon on the Mount.   

Ask God to help you identify areas that need to be corrected and then find the blessing of having the firm foundation of doing what Jesus has commanded.  And do these thing with a good local church with some friends you can love and that love you!

Our prayer life with our Heavenly Father is so important to our every day opportunities and challenges we face.

 We would not want to lose focus and start drifting so that our desire to pray is lacking and our time in prayer is cold.

It's so easy to be foolish.  But what if you think that being a fool couldn't happen to you?

Is it possible to be a fool and not even realize that you are?  What are the behaviors we need to avoid and where do we start to begin to make changes if we realize that we have some actions and attitudes that need to change?

Joel and Ryan work through Ecclesiastes 10 and discover that being a fool starts in our hearts and works all throughout our body especially our mouths.

All LIFE is valuable and has meaning.  All life is good.  When we pass away all of life's simple good little things are over.  So what should our response be?

We should be thankful to be a LIVE DOG rather than a DEAD LION!  What?
There are several statements like this one from Solomon in Ecclesiastes 9 that Joel and Ryan will be working through today.  Take a few minutes to enjoy the conversation and take some positive steps in alignment with God's Word.

God doesn't waste pain or hard experiences in our lives.  We can have gratitude for the smallest things even in the hardest times.  Watch and listen and be encouraged to rely on God TODAY as you keep walking on your way Home to Jesus!

A person's WISDOM brightens the face, Solomon says.  Are we allowing God's Wisdom to penetrate our heart, reach our mouth, and finally produce a smile of contentment?

Our relationship with God's Wisdom is ongoing and never a settled situation.  Our humility in Christ should help us realize that there will be always a need for us to follow Jesus and avoid the dangers of our own desires.

Listen as Joel and Ryan work through Solomon's thoughts and God's truth in Ecclesiastes 8 and discover that it is always better for those who fear the LORD.
