Sergeant Mazzeo and Officer Gariepy join Lieutenant Traversa and Chief Wynn for a wide-ranging conversation. We cover a couple of notable news items, including a recent report out of Marietta, GA about requiring officers to train in jiu-jitsu. After that we talk about changes in the background investigation process and our plans to generate interest in the upcoming Civil Service Exam.

Lieutenant Traversa and Chief Wynn are joined in studio by Field Training Unit FTO Sawiki and Probationary Officer Dube. We talk about changes in the weather, items in the news, dive into details of the Field Training and Evaluation Program, and get a short update on the new station project.

On Patrol introduces Officer Dorr, we talk about our new Suspicious Activity Reporting Guidelines, and Officer Torra and Officer Steinmann come in to talk about transitioning from the Academy to Field Training.

Lt. Traversa is joined in studio by Ofc. Derby and Lt. Soules. Dr. Kulber Zoom’s in for the public health update and after technical difficulties, the Chief joins via Skype. We talk about vaccination progress, the new system for accompanying eligible vaccine recipients, new personnel moves at PPD and Dalton and lots of fraud.
