In this episode, Robyn hosts a round table discussion with two of her friends, co-workers and fellow dancers, Madelyn Mickelsen and Adrienne Bot. They share their own journeys with dance in their early twenties, going into detail about their definitions and perspectives on working the hustle as artists in 2018. The three dancers carry the conversation on their hustle across several topics including work-life balance, social media, re-evaluating your goals, and ultimately accepting that you just need to be confident in doing the best that you can and letting that fuel your aspirations as a dancer.
In this week’s episode, Robyn breaks down her experience with part time work since moving to New York, and her progression along the way. She shares not only her reflection but also some tips for working through your own hustle as a dancer. Look for episode 8 where she will host a coffee table discussion with three of her peers also experiencing their own journeys in their creative endeavors as performers.
