On the Craft

Happy Quarantine everyone! We hope you are all healthy and safe and enjoying this time with family to hopefully watch more movies together. And if this one isn't on your list, it damn well should be. The Birdcage is a fantastic comedy with a lot of heart from the mid 90's. We love it and we hope you do too. Sit back and enjoy while we discuss the characters and the story and the importance of the subject matter. Stay safe!

Well this doesn't happen very often, but Branden introduced Jeff to a movie he hadn't seen. Full disclosure, Jeff hadn't never even heard of it. So listen in as Jeff gives Branden his assessment on the film, it's actors, and it's writer/director; keeping in mind that this is one of Branden's all time favorite movies. We hope everyone can use this episode as a source of entertainment while we all practice social distancing and staying home in the attempt to "flatten the curve" of Covid-19. Choosing a movie to review for the first time was a no brainer. Jeff and Branden have loved this film for decades and you will learn quickly that it is not only one of their favorite movies of all time but they know it line by line and they think it is a great example of a "complete" movie. Acting, writing, directing, lighting, the score all add up to one fantastic piece of work. We hope you enjoy listening to their take on the film as much as they enjoyed telling it.
