Hey all! We have our 4th episode out of Season 2. If you haven’t done so yet, please take 5 seconds to like, comment, and subscribe to our podcast. We’re listener supported and REALLY love making these; give us some feedback on what we can do better.
In today’s episode, Gavin and I go into Operation: Jetway, a U.S. Department of Justice (DEA) program that ran for nearly 10 years at airports across the United States targeting travelers who they thought were carrying criminally-earned cash. This issue needs more attention and not in the dark corners of Fox News, especially with a new administration leading and most Americans having little trust in Uncle Sam.
You might be shocked, startled, and frustrated by listening to this episode—and with good reason. Leave your comments below.

Hey all! On this episode of On the Fringe, Gavin and I go DEEP into scam farms in the Golden Triangle of Southeast Asia. Scams have been around since the beginning of time, and will not go away soon; and AI technology is making them much more sophisticated and dastardly—and real.
We did TWO episodes in Season 1 about crime, scam farms, and money laundering in Southeast Asia and the Golden Triangle. They’re linked down below.
In 20 minutes, you will learn:
Where these scam farms operate, who (unfortunately) is working there, why they operate, who they target, and most importantly—how you can protect yourself and your loved ones.

Hello all! 안녕하세요 여러분! We have our second episode of Season 2.
(Little secret: this is actually the first one we recorded for the season)
Kicking this off, our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost loved ones in the Jeju Air plane crash in Jeolla nam-Do. I (Dave) have flown Jeju Air and have found them to be a reputable and safe airline overall.
In this episode, Gavin and I dissect the political mess in South Korea, including providing background into both sides of the protests (for and against President Yoon’s impeachment) and what we predict for the country moving forward based on our analysis. They’re in a VERY tight spot economically (maybe except for exporting electronics and computer chips) and the ongoing political crisis is not helping the situation.
Have a listen and give us some feedback. Don’t forget to subscribe or send us a shout or an emoji (👍 or 🖕works!)

Hello, all! Episode 15 (it's really episode 18 in the order we published) is our final Sliced n’ Diced for the year. We will be coming back in January with more to help you get the lowdown on something going on in the far-off corners of the earth or hidden in plain view. (They were a decent emo band)
We meant to release this episode a week or so ago, but I got sick the day I got back to the States and we ended up moving the order around a bit.
This episode covers the Vietnamese Communist Party’s ongoing ‘Blazing Furnaces’ anti-corruption campaign and Vietnam’s decision to uphold the death penalty against Truong My Lan, a local tycoon through scandal after scandal.
Curious as to why? Have a listen, pass on some feedback, and don’t forget to subscribe if you enjoy it :)
Thanks for all your support over the last few months of 2024 and we wish you all the best for 2025.

Hey all! We have a second episode providing you some background + analysis about what is currently going on in Syria. The situation there is RAPIDLY changing within the country, and I’m not a Syria expert—so take everything here with a grain of salt.
Part one is below and is a deep dive into the country’s history as well as a long bio on the al-Assad family.
Take care all and have a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. All the best for 2025!

I know that Australia is a bit of a circus, but come on!
A Florida woman was charged, tried, and found guilty this week of importing a weapon into Australia to protect herself while she was at Clown College in Sydney. Yeah, I also wouldn’t want to attend Clown College in Sydney.
This episode is a doozie all around. Have a listen and enjoy!
And remember—be careful what you’re packin’!!!
Hi all! This is Part 2 of what is transpiring in South Korea. Part 1 is here.
In the last two + weeks, South Korea and the Korean people have worked hard to protect their democracy that they fought for since the end of the Korean War (and well before it!)
Listen in to what is sure to be one of the biggest and most important political events of the year, and one that will be written about in political science textbooks for decades.

Apparently, he's a heavy drinker.....could be anyone, right?
For the first time since 1980, Korea’s President has declared Martial Law and taken matters into his own hands to protect the country from Shadowy Forces from North Korea. Although martial law lasted only six hours, this event will impact the country and the region for years to come, as well as will bring the country together.
Gavin and I dip our toes into a truly unexpected and unprecedented event, with more to come in the future on this episode.
