Hello, all! Episode 15 (it's really episode 18 in the order we published) is our final Sliced n’ Diced for the year. We will be coming back in January with more to help you get the lowdown on something going on in the far-off corners of the earth or hidden in plain view. (They were a decent emo band)

We meant to release this episode a week or so ago, but I got sick the day I got back to the States and we ended up moving the order around a bit.

This episode covers the Vietnamese Communist Party’s ongoing ‘Blazing Furnaces’ anti-corruption campaign and Vietnam’s decision to uphold the death penalty against Truong My Lan, a local tycoon through scandal after scandal.

A Florida woman was charged, tried, and found guilty this week of importing a weapon into Australia to protect herself while she was at Clown College in Sydney. Yeah, I also wouldn’t want to attend Clown College in Sydney.

For the first time since 1980, Korea’s President has declared Martial Law and taken matters into his own hands to protect the country from Shadowy Forces from North Korea. Although martial law lasted only six hours, this event will impact the country and the region for years to come, as well as will bring the country together.
