  • The Delights of New Life

We are going back in time in this episode!  This episode is a reminder of warmer days for us in the northern hemisphere.  A sweet poem by Celia Thaxter which I found in a McGuffey's Third Eclectic Reader.

  • Thankfulness

The American holiday of Thanksgiving is a time when we collectively pause and give thanks for our country and our blessings.  I am so thankful for you.  Without you there would be no podcast or blog.  Today (and every day) be a blessing to some else; give a smile, a kind word, your presence to someone else.  We all need encouragement and we all have so much to be thankful for.

  • November: Time for Cozy Reading

Autumn and winter feel the perfect time to cuddle up and read.  I like to sit near the window and watch the birds or the snow falling.  I have been intentional in keeping my reading stack smaller this month because of all the activities that are happening.

If you enjoyed this episode, please like and review (it's very encouraging to me), subscribe and, best of all, share it with your friends.  Happy November!

  • A Spark of Poetry

Some times call for a bit of verse.  Autumn seems idyllic for poetry.  And fires.  If you enjoy this poem by Robert Louise Stevenson share it with a friend.  Thank you for visiting with me On the Journey.  This episode is also available as a blog post: https://amybain.wordpress.com/2022/10/26/a-spark-of-poetry/

  • Doubting, You?

We are going back in time to 18 October 2015 in this episode.  Doubt.  It is a natural part of the human life.  Faith and doubt?  It is also is part of the human life experience.  God is big enough to allow us our doubts and help us through them.  I hope this episode will encourage you and show you that you are not alone if you have some doubts where faith is concerned.  We have to ask questions of God and dig to find the answers for faith is not passive.  If you benefited from this episode, please, give it a rating and review, subscribe to this podcast and the best encouragement of all is that you will share it with a friend.  If you are able, you can also support the production of this podcast financially on my Anchor homepage.  Thank you for your encouragement and visiting here with me.  If you visit the blog post, you can listen to one of my favorite songs "Thomas's Song".  This episode is also available as a blog post: https://amybain.wordpress.com/2015/10/18/doubting-you/

  • Follower
We follow someone. Who we choose to follow matters because the path we follow leads to a destination. We must be certain it is the correct destination. This episode is also available as a blog post: https://amybain.wordpress.com/2015/09/13/follower/
