We thought we'd done 'Reboots' but we were wrong! And speaking of wrong, it turns out most of them are.

When a franchise starts to fade or wear out it's welcome the obvious answer, or so we thought, was to wait a few years before bringing them back into the limelight. Turns out that's not really the case (unless you're surname is Croft)!

A lot of people seem to have written off Microsoft as having lost this generation. That might well be the case, but they certainly seem to be going about losing it in the right way as far as the future is concerned.

Also: LIVE Resident Evil 2 remake news! And we get disappointed about game manuals.

So much content! So much disappointing content...

We've done it! A whole 100 episodes!! Phew...

We were going to discuss a whole slew of other topics but we just ended up fixated on Ubisoft's last big release (but we did manage a little about the Dark Souls remaster, ESL Birmingham, Sea of Thieves, Fortnite etc).

It's time for us to go digging and unearth some of the history behind one of video gaming's most enduring icons.

She's been around for a long while now but how many adventures does she have left in her?

Harry and Simon can't seem to agree on that last one, but they both agree that LARA CROFT is pretty important to the video game landscape as a whole.

It shouldn't work, but it does...

This week we take a look at those video games that, on paper, don't sound like they should really work but somehow do.

Also Harry gets excited by Birmingham flavoured DOTA and neither of us are quite done with Sonic yet. Poor, poor, tired out Sonic.

This unearthed far more surprises than either of us expected with a great many firsts and a good deal of foresight (with a more than a pinch of bad timing, bad luck and bizarre decisions).

It was the Superb Owl last week and beneath it's magnificent wings were a selection of new movie trailers! Some or none of them had Harrison Ford disguised as a cow in every scene (and may or may not be dead).

It's all something of a Cloverfield Paradox. Or maybe it isn't.
