Bonus 'The Flash' update from Reece!

Like sliding into bed with fresh, crisp linen after a long day, this week we set out to discuss only those good moments in video games. Due to technical complications this one is a week old so prepare for old news! And Harry has recently informed me that no matter how fresh and crisp my linen is; it isn't happening.

Of course it's back but this time with added Reece. This time we go through those sequels that never lived up to the promise or just straight up ballsed it completely. Spoilers, obviously.

And there's a quiz. Harry loses. Spoilers, obviously.

Naturally after last weeks 'Beginnings' it would only make sense to cover 'Endings' and so that's exactly what we've gone and done! The memorable, the not so memorable and, of course, a Metal Gear game.

Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to take a leaf out of Harry's book and have a smoke whilst hanging out with the cool kids.

Everyone likes a happy ending - but what about a happy beginning? This week we knuckle down and go through the openings to some of our favourite (and not so favourite) video games.

Long story short: add a skip button, dammit.

What makes us video gamers happy? After a long discussion it turns out that returning to our childhood is probably just the thing. Also booze. But not Katy Perry.

It's Gamescom! Woo, and indeed, hoo. But was it any good? We go through the news and reveals and come to the conclusion that *SPOILERS* no, it wasn't.

Plus Harry hates quizzes (and maybe Simon).

No one could have predicted that when we decided to tackle video game spin offs we would end up all humming along to George Formby, but we did. That's the mystery of life I suppose. It's Reece's fault.

Time to tackle another trope and this time it's those pesky, shuffley, flesh eatey zombies. This week Harry and Simon hunker down and discuss everyone's favourite bullet sponges (Reece, alas, has succumbed to his mystery illness - it was zombification. Who knew!).

So, open a fresh can of brains and enjoy!
