Natasha Raheel is a sports journalist for Express Tribune who writes about domestic football among other sports. She recently covered the extremely unfortunate story of how K-Electric is disbanding its football team, which is one of the oldest and most popular teams in Pakistani football, and a source of joy for the football lovers of Karachi. Professional footballers and other staff members who have given their time and sweat for the team and the sport are being told they no longer belong as footballers.

Natasha talks to Ismail about the news story, why the decision is being taken, what is so wrong about it, and why this is a foolish move even for the department's own self-interest. She explains how this decision has a human and societal impact that is much deeper than meets the eye, and how the damage will be felt in different communities and groups of people in ways we cannot fully imagine or experience.
