Daniel Limones is the Technical Director of the Pakistani Football Federation and former coach for Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano. 

He chats to us in great detail about his thoughts on Pakistani football and his vision to develop the sport on domestic and international levels. Dani outlines the work he is doing to construct Pakistan's footballing identity, the importance of homegrown coaches, and how he plans to kickstart youth football in Pakistan to make sure our talent is not wasted any further. Ismail Farooq talked to Sports Management Expert and Football Consultant Shahrukh Sohail about football and sports management in Pakistan. The two discussed the importance of sports management and how we can create a solid football ecosystem in the country. Shahrukh also shared his experiences working in Pakistani football, like organising the landmark “Ronaldinho & Friends” event. He also outlined in great detail the fundamental issue with Pakistani football and provided solutions and working examples of other countries that we should follow. Shahrukh believes the floodgates for Pakistani football will open in the near future - let’s hope he’s right.
