Besides his endeavours with Safariprojek, he’s also had an itch for racing his whole life. Currently, he’s satisfying the desire by racing Dakar trucks. He is doing it all!

A name that doesn’t need introducing in the South African racing scene, and a name you would have heard a lot about over the past weekend at Simola Hillclimb, racing with his B19 Chevron and heavily-modified GTR called “Sheriff”. His family is well-known in the mining industry, but also for their racing, with Franco being part of a family of racers. He has stories upon stories to tell, including racing F40’s around on Italy’s mountain roads, and how he is rebuilding the very Mustang that almost caused his death.
