In this episode the boys welcome Roseau Rams standout hockey player and Future St. Cloud State Husky, Thor Byfuglien.  Thor talks about playing in then USHL with the Chicago Steel and his reasons for returning to high school for his senior season, and as always, after the interview the boys have some fun with meaningless chatter.  Enjoy!

In this episode the OTP boys bring in @Followthepuck for the first episode of this season and interview Rico Blasi the head coach of the University of St Thomas mens hockey team.  He talks about the jump to playing D1, his years at Miami Ohio, rating the stadium popcorn and how he is building his program into a D1 contender.   After the interview the boys discuss MN High School hockey and Sam's lock to win the AA state title next March.  Enjoy!

This week, we welcome Coach Scott Oliver to The Pond. Scott was a a great interviewee who will pull you in with stories of his journey to where he is today, great insight into players he's coached over the years, MN state title teams he's coached in Roseau and East Grand Forks, and the MN high school elite league. This week On The Pond, we had on a Minnesota beauty in Jack Ahcan. Jack talked about his time growing up in the Twin Cities area and some of the tough choices he had to make as a multi-sport athlete. He also talked a bit about his days in the USHL and shared some lights out stories from his time at SCSU, and how he ended up going to SCSU. He was a great guest and we can't wait to see him in NHL someday very soon.

This week we were joined by a couple of Section 8 beauties in Cole Smith and Mitch McClain. Cole is currently with the Chicago Wolves in the AHL, but made his NHL debut earlier this season with Nashville. Mitch is with the AHL's Iowa Wild. Both guys are Brainerd area natives and are doing something special to give back to the program that raised them. Listen in to find out more on that!
