On The Road: A Law Enforcement Journey

Episode 18 is an update on how things are going! It has been a 2nd chance at life for myself and I am so grateful for the opportunity.

Episode 17 is a recap of week 16 of the police academy which was our graduation and licensing exam week. The practical segment covers preparing for the licensing exam while the fitness segment covers setting goals using the SMART principle.

A recap of week 15 of the police academy. This is the home stretch as next week is our graduation! We have been busy with scenarios and final exams so the stress factor has been in high gear. Our practical segment is based around knowing your limitations as a person while the fitness segment covers the infamous squat debate.

Episode 15 recaps week 14 of the police academy. We have only 2 weeks left! This week was focused on more firearms, felony stops, and high-speed pursuit driving. Our practical segment covers preparing for job interviews while the fitness segment covers training to get faster.

Episode 14 is a recap of training weeks 12 and 13 of the police academy. We are less than a month away from being done! The practical segment covers the importance of failing during training while the fitness segment covers the basics of where to go once physical training has stopped.

This episode covers a recap of week 7 of the police academy. Courses were primarily based on sexual assault, juvenile offenders, and juvenile law. Our practical segment dives into first aid training while the fitness segment discusses a proper warmup before physical training.

In this episode, we discuss a recap of weeks 5 and 6 of the police academy. The practical segment consists of interpersonal skills with our fitness segment talking about endurance training. It has been a very busy schedule, I will do my best to stay on top of weekly episodes and try to find a time that works for a guest to come on.
