Texas is full of characters and things to celebrate and boy do we. In this episode I cover eight of the interesting festivals and events that I could find. Come walk around the state with me and check them out.

There are tons of Native American Tribes in the United States. I knew a large amount of them were historically in Texas at one point or another but I had no idea that only three federally recognized tribes are headquartered in Texas today. In this episode I give a little bit of history on tribes that were significant to Texas in one form or another and then jump into the three tribes in Texas today.
