It is originally written in Kannada by a renowned Kannada novelist, philosopher and screenwriter S.L. Bhyrappa novel and is translated to English by R. Ranganath Prasad. Ancchu or Brink is a love saga between two complex characters Somashekhar, a widower, and Dr Amrita, an estranged woman. The novel deliberates on the moral, philosophical, and physical aspects of love between a man and a woman.
