God’s Word is powerful and alive — but what happens when it gets planted in a distracted heart?

This Sunday’s message is entitled “Choked Out”, rooted in Mark 4:18–19, where Jesus explains the part of the Parable of the Sower that many of us quietly live out:

“Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.” — Mark 4:18–19 (NIV)

It’s not that we are too busy for God, it’s that He is no longer first. So often, it’s not that we reject God’s Word — it’s that we allow other things to grow beside it. Worries. Deceitfulness of wealth. Desire for other things. These thorns don’t always show up loud, but they slowly suffocate our spiritual growth.

This Sunday, we’ll learn about how to recognize what’s been choking out the Word in our lives — and how to clear space for God’s voice to take root and bear fruit.

7 years! Lord, thank You for 7 years!

We are standing at the threshold of something new, something beautiful, and something significant.

Seven years ago, this church began with nothing but a promise from God and a people who dared to believe. There were no grand buildings, no big budgets—but there was vision. There was faith. There was obedience to the call.

We started in a small chapel with just a handful of people who carried a fire in their hearts and a dream that looked bigger than them.

From rented spaces to packed rooms...
From quiet worship to joyful praise...
God walked with us through every season.

Since then, we have seen mountains moved and miracles unfold.

Ministries were birthed.
Leaders were raised.
Souls were saved.
The fire kept burning.

We served beyond our walls— Feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, loving the broken.
We became a light in the community.

We’ve faced storms, losses, transitions—but we never stopped.

We’ve cried together. We’ve rejoiced together. We’ve served, sacrificed, and stood.

And here we are—7 years later, still burning with the same fire, still believing for more. Because the God who called us, carried us.

And He has never failed.

And now… God is calling us for something greater. For His glory, He is calling us into New Horizons.

In our scripture today, we learned about Jesus’ healing of the ten men with leprosy. Here, we saw that out of the ten, only one came back to thank Jesus for what he has done.

Let us all listen in order for us to learn more about “That thing called PASASALAMAT.” Don’t just receive the blessing.

Seek the miracle worker.

Life doesn’t always sound like a worship song.

Some days come across more like a messy mix—off-key notes, missed beats, and long, uncomfortable pauses.
But if you could take a step back and view your life from heaven’s angle, you’d start to hear something different: a symphony.

Because God is the Master Composer.

Every season—whether filled with joy or sorrow, rushing or waiting—fits perfectly within His rhythm. Every delay carries intention. Every silence speaks with meaning. Every “not yet” is setting the stage for something beautiful.

Ecclesiastes 3, our scripture this Sunday, doesn’t promise us control over time. It gives us something better: peace within time. It invites us to trust the tempo, even when we can’t trace the tune.
It invites us to trust the tempo, even when the melody feels unfamiliar.

So, wherever you find yourself today—in a time of waiting, weeping, building, breaking, laughing, or letting go—know this: you’re not off-track. You’re right on beat.
You’re moving with the rhythm of a God who sees the whole song.

And in the right time—He will make it beautiful.
