Sermon Title: One Body, Many Parts

Main Scripture: Romans 12:4-5 "Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other."

Synopsis: This text is one of several in the Bible that use the body as a metaphor for the church. Similar to individual parts of the body, God gives each of us abilities to do certain things well. In isolation those abilities can do some good, but the impact is multiplied when in unity with the abilities of others. A healthy church resists isolation and embraces unity, diversity, and mutuality.
