Kevin and Doug take on the controversial film from Taika Waititi “Jojo Rabbit.” The movie follows a young German boy as he grows up through the final months of World War II. Roman Griffin Davis and Thomasin McKenzie star as Jojo and Elsa as they learn to look past each others differences and learn the meaning of love and humanity. Does this charmingly difficult film cause Kevin and Dougie to fall in love with it or does the magic of the movie push them away? Listen and find out.

They both watched “The Current War” where Thomas Eddison and George Westinghouse battle over the rights and money for who will light up the world. After that joint review Doug reviews “Harriet” which follows the remarkable life of Harriet Tubman. Finally Kevin wraps up the discussion with a review of the new “old timey” horror flick “The Lighthouse” which stars Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson as 2 “wikies” at war with each other and themselves.

As Joker becomes the first R rated film in history to make over 900 million dollars in the world wide box office Kevin and Dougie have their review locked and loaded for your listening pleasure. Joaquin Phoenix stars as Arthur Fleck a lonely man who can’t seem to catch a break until he finally becomes “Joker.” Will the amazing performance be enough to convince Dougie that it was worth the time. Happy Halloween from our hosts to you! For this years Spooktacular episode, Kevin and Dougie continue their tradition of covering horror comedies. Earlier this year acclaimed independent filmmaker Jim Jarmusch gave audiences “The Dead Don’t Die" his take on the ever popular “Zombie Genre.” Adam Driver and Bill Murray give some great performances but was it enough? On this weeks episode the guys welcome six year old Gracie into the studio to talk about Jon Favreau’s “The Lion King.” Dougie (or this week as he is known as “Grandpa”) discusses his dislike for the current onslaught of remakes Disney is throwing at us. Gracie who normally talks nonstop about movies is shy as an official guest, and Kevin pulled out all of his hair while trying to edit the sound as they used a three mic technique (which failed miserably.) Kevin and Doug review "Blinded by the Light" A film about the music of Bruce Springsteen changing the world. Well, at least the world of Javed. A young man stuck in the middle of Luton, England. Kevin was already a huge Springsteen fan, and Doug was no stranger to the Boss. Does their love of the Bruce translate when it becomes the center of the cinema? Listen and find out.

On this weeks episode Kevin and Doug step into the world of Danny Boyle where the Beatles Never existed as they review “Yesterday” the film. Kevin hasn’t loved Boyle’s films the way the rest of the world seems to and Dougie was unfamiliar with the directors particular palate.
