She was a registered nurse, had a career, a home, a daughter, and everything going for her. She was able to go to work every day and hide her addiction… until she couldn’t anymore. While they were there, they recorded this episode of the podcast with Josh and Alex Zuniga. Josh is one of the first graduates of the Freeway Discipleship House. Josh and Alex are now Freeway missionaries to Florida. We are so excited to watch all that God is doing through this ministry.

This month John Stroup is speaking with Mike and Kim Estell. Mike and Kim both lived a life of addiction which led to many run-ins with the law. They both hit rock bottom and found Christ. Both are Discipleship House graduates. After their graduation, they met and began dating and were married. Mike is now a graduate of Bible college, a pastor, and a certified Biblical counselor. Kim is finishing her college degree, works at Freeway Headquarters, and is running the Freeway Marshfield Women’s Discipleship House. God has extraordinarily changed the path of their lives. They both thought they had things figured out, but eventually learned that God had better things planned for them.
