In this episode, Lisa and Briana had the privilege of sitting down with relationship violence expert Jasmine Uribe to discuss the Teen Dating Violence Movement. She has participated in national conferences, panels, podcasts, radio, and network television shows. Jasmine is a leader in the dating violence and sexual assault prevention movement, with 15 years of experience working with youth and adult allies across the country to inspire leadership and amplify the voices of survivors of violence. As a nationally recognized consultant working to advance non-profit program development and sustainability efforts, she believes in empowering communities through the development of innovative programs and culturally specific resources that enact change. Over the past 11 years she led many initiatives with Break the Cycle, a former organization working to end relationship violence, and most recently served as their Chief Operating Officer. She is currently the CEO and Founder of Leaders Ending Violence, LLC where she works with organizations and advocates across the country to inspire change, adapt programs, and build youth leadership efforts around the issues of dating and domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and cyber-stalking.
